KIKO Trio Blush and 3D Hydra Lipgloss

Hey lovelies, Happy Wednesday! Hope your week has been going well so far. It’s so hot and sunny today. Just too hot to go anywhere. I notice that lately I haven’t been very keen on makeup stuff. I haven’t bought any new things since I came back from the trip. It’s probably because the hot weather. Light coverage foundation, blush and lipgloss are all I need for everyday make-up. Speaking of lipgloss and blush, I have been using the one I bought from the trip, Kiko 3D hydra Lipgloss and Trio blush. I really like them. The KIKO Trio Blush I got is 05 Marsala, a matte dusty mauve pink. The colour is soft and natural looking. It is very easy to blend.  Doesn’t take much effort at all. I love the packaging too, very compact with a mirror inside. Handy to travel with.  I don’t think the lasting power is super good, but I am ok with it. Mecca Max Chic Cheek Blush & Game Face BB Cream|First Impression

Hey lovelies, I hope you are having an amazing day! Last week, I went to my local Mecca Maxima shop. Just in case you don’t know what the shop is. It is an Australian owned beauty shop. It looks like they have two types of shop that are carrying different beauty brands. One is focusing on beauty products, called Mecca Maxima. The other one is focusing on luxury brands, called Mecca Cosmetica. Although I don’t quite get the concept behind this, I do notice one probably has more fragrance brands. Anyway,  they do have most of the beauty brands available in store. They just launched their own makeup line, called Mecca Max. I think most likely they are only sold in Australia and New Zealand. NYX Total Control Drop Foundation – Yes or No?

Hello lovely people! I am sure everyone heard about NYX Total control drop foundation by now. It has been all over the youtube. A lot of youtuber raved about it. There are so many tutorials. I always interested in liquid foundation. I love NYX products too, especially their eyeshadows and eyeliner. When I found out the foundation is available here, I had to try it. NYX claims that this foundation has coverage from sheer to full. It has velvety and matte finish. You can get more coverage by using more drops. NYX also recommends to use the Total control foundation brush to apply the foundation to achieve “a seriously smooth finish“. There are 24 shades. Ingredients: Cyclopentasiloxane, Water/Aqua/Eau, Glycerin, Vinyl Dimethicone/Methicone Silsesquioxane Crosspolymer, Propylene Glycol, PEG-10 Dimethicone, Isododecane, Dimethicone, Phenyl Trimethicone, Polymethyl Methacrylate, Triethoxycaprylylsilane, Trimethylsiloxysilicate, Propylene Carbonate, Disteardimonium Hectorite, Ethylhexylglycerin, Phenoxyethanol. My favourite red lipsticks

Happy Monday, lovelies! I know, I know. Monday is not always the happiest day of the week. So let’s talk about something that can cheer up the mood a bit. I am thinking red lipsticks. 🙂 I was reorganising my makeup drawer during the weekend. You know the drill. Some must go, and some can stay. We should always do a regular clean-up of our makeup/skincare drawers because you don’t want to use expired products on your skin. They will only do more harm than good.  Here are my favourite red lipsticks. 1.Lancome L’Absolu Rouge Lipstick – 132 Caprice This one is reasonable new. I got it about three weeks ago. Very hydrating, pigmented, creamy and long lasting. I love the texture on my dry lips. The colour is a gorgeous blue toned red with a satin finish. Love the packaging too. 2. Since it’s a multiple, it can be used on your cheeks, lips and eyes. Charlotte Gainsbourg is a British-French actress and singer, born in London and raised in Pairs. Hey lovelies, Happy Friday! I have a short review for Nars Velvet Lip Glide today. Most of the days I am a typical neutral, nude lip colour type. However, I do love a red lipstick from time to time, especially in the cold season or a rainy day. A little bit of bright colour can change the mood and brighten things up. A couple of weeks ago, I got Mecca beauty loop box. Among all the little goodies in the box for me to try, I found a mini size Nars velvet lip glide. The colour is Le Palace. BareMinerals Pop of Passion Lip Oil-Balm | Review

I went shopping with my mom few weeks ago. Although I didn’t have anything in mind, I still went in and tried few things (as usual) in our local Mecca beauty store. When I was trying the BareMinerals Buttercream lip gloss, these cute pretty lip balms caught my eyes. I ended up taking two with me home. Somehow I cannot find this lip balm on BareMinerals website anymore. From Mecca’s website, it says it’s an oil-balm contains Vitamin E and passion fruit seed oil. It claims the formula hydrates and nourishes the lips. I got the colour of Tangerine Pop and Nude Passion. Tangerine Pop is a bright orange/coral colour, while the Nude Passion is a neutral nude colour. I love both. Nude Passion is definitely like your lips but better. Tangerine is warm coral, which goes well on my tanned skin in summer. I was impressed by the colour payoff. If I just apply once, it gives a hint of colour. Although I might not be able to respond to your comments or likes immediately, I would try to check in as soon as I can. Today, I have a short review for Burberry Liquid Lip Velvet. I got the colour of oxblood. To be honest, the colour is really out of my comfort zone. Normally nude pink is my colour, like dusty rose. I love Tom Ford Indian rose or Estee Lauder Dynamic (410).
