Declutter Friendship

Declutter friendship?! Hmmm…sounds harsh? We talk about declutter stuff a lot, like our desk, our wardrobe, and our mind. However, have you thought that we might have to declutter friendship from time to time. It all started from a conversation I had with a couple of friends few weeks back and an article I read a while ago about mental health. If hanging on to useless stuff is not healthy, how different is hanging on to toxic friendship. Quite often I hear friends talk about some of their friends who like to argue constantly, who like to win at the end no matter at what cost, who is super negative about everything and never change, who is selfish and only contact you when they need your help or borrow money. If that’s case, maybe it’s time to have a close look at the friendship and downsize friends. Set boundary. Friends should support each other. I totally agree. However, it doesn’t mean you have to answer the call in the middle of the night. You don’t have …

Hey there

Hey there, it has been a long time. I have been missing you guys and this little me space a lot. I hope you are all well. I am sorry that I hit the “Pause Button” hard this time. It started from some minor health issues. Then, it went on. Eventually, my doctor told me it was probably all caused by stress. I was asked to minimise my “screen time” apart from work, have more rest and do more exercises. At that point, I felt exhausted all the time. I started experiencing insomnia. I wasn’t very happy at all. Then, I realised that taking care of my mental health was the only responsible thing to do. Otherwise, it would be just irresponsible for everyone in my life. So I signed up a new membership to do Pilates and Yoga. I have a new routine now to exercise 4 to 5 times a week. We also had an island retreat in Vanuatu. I will tell you all about it. 🙂 Just want to say big Thank you …

Happy Valentine’s day!

Love is in the air! Love is in the water, in every sip of your tea and coffee…   I wish you a very Happy Valentine’s day! If you have a husband/wife/partner/boyfriend/girlfriend, I hope everyday is Valentine’s day to you both. Love is big and small. It’s everywhere, everything, a glass of water on your desk when you are busy working/studying, a hug or/and a kiss before you leave home to work, hold your hand before cross the street, fresh coffee when you wake up, bear hug when you feel down… I wish you a very Happy Valentine’s day! If you don’t have a partner/boyfriend/girlfriend/husband/wife yet, I hope you won’t give up on love. Before the Mr/Mrs Right shows up at your door, love yourself, make yourself happy, be responsible for your own happiness! We all love you. 🙂 With lots of love! Jen xx

TV Shows I Enjoyed Watching Over Holiday

As you know, we didn’t go anywhere this holiday. We had family and friends came for a visit. So I did have plenty of time to watch some TV shows. Well, I am not reviewing any TV shows. Just thought I share some of the ones I really enjoyed watching. If you have any recommendations, please leave a comment below. I would love to watch/discover some new shows. Criminal Minds – I have been following this one for years, and I have always loved Crime TV shows, CSI, NCIS and etc. So it’s always my number one choice. Peaky Blinders – I am so surprised that I actually love this show. To be honest, I didn’t think it was my type, gangster, violence… I was wrong! I was hooked and couldn’t stop watching it. The Blacklist – Same as Criminal minds. I have been watching this one for a while. Love every single episode. It’s a little bit more than just a crime show. There is mystery, family, and love. Star trek: Discovery – I am not a huge …

Hello

Hello, everyone! Hope you are all well. How was your holiday? I hope you had a wonderful time. On the other hand, if your holiday is still going, lucky you! 🙂 Mine is officially over. I am back to work today, and I will start doing more blogging from now on. I really miss you guys and this little space. I have quite a few things to share, some skin/body care products reviews, recipes, TV shows I loved during the holiday. But one at a time, Of course. We had a very busy holiday with friends and family. We had friends visiting from New Zealand. That was so sweet. We hadn’t seen each other for over five years. Nothing is better than reunion with good friends. Hopefully, we get to revisit New Zealand some time soon. It has been really hot this summer in Australia. Last weekend, it was 38 degree here. Crazy! The only thing we could think of was going to the beach and enjoy the water. Holiday also means a lot of cooking …

Happy New Year!

Last day of 2017! Time really flies. I would say I have had a good year. I am really grateful! All our family members and friends are healthy. I am so glad that my mom agreed to come for a visit this year. We spent a couple of months together. We also had trips to Tasmania and Fraser Island. I really treasure the time we spent together. I got a new job this year. The best part is the people I work with. They are all so helpful, supportive and nice. We had one of our best trips to Europe. I am still writing about it. More posts will be up on my blog for the next few weeks. For my blog, I reached 1000 followers this year. I am grateful for all your support and love! I wish all of you have a wonderful New Year, no matter where you are! Have a good time with your friends and family! Be safe! See you in 2018! xoxo Lots of love. Jen

Gift Season

Wow, first day of December 2017. Christmas and New Year are just around the corner. I can’t believe this year is almost gone. Although I don’t believe Christmas is the only time to give gifts to our loved ones, it certainly is the right occasion. I know I am bit late for looking for gifts. Better late than never, eh? Once I started searching for gift ideas, I am overwhelmed with all the sales and promotion out there on the market. I haven’t really decided what to buy, but I have narrowed down some gifts I like to get for my families and probably myself. 😉 Skin care Peter Thomas Roth Mask-A-Holic looks like a good set. Five masks in one package. You get to try everything. I haven’t tried any of their masks. Quite tempted by this one. OMOROVICZA Miracle Facial Oil Set is very good value for money. Only the Miracle Facial oil’s retail price is £75. This set has three products for £80. Last one is Emma Hardie Amazing Face Life and Glow skin Essentials. I love …

I’m back

Greetings, lovely people! I hope you have had a wonderful weekend! My apologies! I know I haven’t updated my blog for over three weeks. I really missed my blog and you guys. I came back from the trip two weeks ago. There were so much to catch up at work. I was really snowed under with work. Plus, I had really bad jet lag. For the first week, I didn’t get much sleep at all. At some stage, I was so stressed out. Anyway, it’s all getting better now. No complaints! 🙂 I will start uploading photos and posts about the trip. It was one of the best trips I ever had. Please stay tuned. 🙂 For the beauty lovers, I didn’t buy a lot of beauty stuff on this trip. But I did get some Kiko products (Italian brand) and some Biotherm products (French brand). I will gradually post some reviews about these products. Just a sneak peek here. 😉 I want to take the opportunity to thank my followers. Thanks for staying with me. …
