Biotherm Blue Therapy Accelerate Serum | Review

I don’t think I have posted a review for the Biotherm Blue Therapy Accelerate serum. I have almost finished the entire bottle. Guess it’s time to talk about it. Somehow I always like this brand. Unfortunately, it’s not so easy to purchase their products in Australia, at least in Brisbane. This is an anti-ageing repairing serum. It claims that it will help to reduce winkles, improve firmness and restore the youth of your skin. Well, I don’t believe any products can really restore the youth of my skin. However, I am obsessed with clear and luminous skin which gives your skin a youthful look. That’s all I am asking for from an anti-ageing serum. What they say about this product: “Rejuvenating serum to reduce visible signs of aging: fine lines – smoothing – firmness…oil-in-water dispersion system. Concentrated in extract of “Algae of Youth”, which delivers powerful hydrating capabilities that counter signs of aging, day after day. Fine lines appear smoothed, complexion is radiant, and facial skin contours feel tighter for a visible transformation.” Sounds pretty …

Dr. Jackson’s 02 Night Cream|Review

One of my friends raved about this night cream. I am always curious about a good night cream for dry skin, and I love Dr. Jackson’s 07 Face Wash. It has been my morning cleanser for a while. Its citrus scent smells refreshing and divine. It certainly wakes me up every morning. From what I learned, all their products are vegan and free from parabens, sulphates, artificial fragrances and synthetic ingredients. Plus, I really have a good feeling about this brand. Maybe it’s because of its packaging. They are all rather unpretentious. If it’s a trick, it certainly works on me. 😉 What they say about this product: “Rich, repairing nighttime formula. It is perfect for nighttime use, has long-lasting hydrating effects (clinical trials have proved that just one application works its moisturising magic on the skin for up to eight hours!). It is packed full of natural ingredients that work in harmony to nourish and soften the skin . Make this replenishing formula part of your bedtime rituals to enrich the skin and create an …

OSKIA Renaissance Mask | Review

Beauty Shortlist Awards, The Natural Health Beauty Awards,  Anti-ageing Beauty Bible, UK Beauty Awards, you name it. I heard about OSKIA Renaissance Mask for a long time. Finally, I decided I had to try it. I can’t have a nice skin mask slip through my fingers. That would be a crime! Ok, so I went online and ordered it few months ago. It arrived and sat on my shelf for few weeks. Why didn’t I try it immediately? I don’t know…weird.  Eventually I tried it, and I loved it right away. What a surprise?! What they say about this product: “Plumping and brightening enzyme mask for all skin types. A peel in a balm. For immediate spa facial results and long term anti-ageing & brightening. Elemis Pro-Collagen Marine Cream (Anti-wrinkle day cream)| Review

Hey lovelies, happy Friday! I can’t believe it’s March already! Somehow these days I always feel that I don’t have enough time to do everything.  It has proven this year is really a busy year for me. Anyway, I have a skin care product review today, which is for Elemis Pro-Collagen Marine Cream – Anti-wrinkle day cream. If you have followed me for a while, you probably remember I did a review for Pro-Collagen Oxygenating Night Cream last year. Elemis is a UK luxury skincare brand. The Pro-collagen Marine Cream is an award-winning day cream. It was the Best Beauty Stylist winner in 2016 and Best for Mature Skin winner for 2017. I have almost finished this one. You will see in the photo. I gotta say I have been enjoying it. What they say about this product: “Clinically proven the powerful anti-ageing ingredients have been shown to reduce the depth of wrinkles, improve skin firmness, tone and hydration in 14 days. The unique Mediterranean algae, Padina Pavonica is blended with Ginkgo Biloba providing superior free-radical protection has been …

Sukin Moisture Restoring Night Cream| Review

You probably noticed that I have been trying out more and more vegan, environment friendly beauty products. Sukin is an Australian vegan, cruelty free, natural skin care brand. I have tried quite a few products from them, shower gel, shampoo, hydration mist, Micellar cleansing water (bit disappointed by this one) and so on. All the ingredients they use for their products are naturally derived, which is super healthy and environmentally sustainable. The bonus is that pretty much all the products are very affordable. Today, I have another review of Sukin products, Moisture Restoring Night Cream. Since I have dry skin, hydration has always been my top priority when it comes to skin care product. I have used this one for a while. I think it’s a perfect night cream for dry skin in a summer time. What they say about this product: “nourishes the skin while you sleep through a blend of Rosehip, Evening Primrose and Jojoba Oils. Added Vitamin E, Borage and Avocado Oils replenish the skin’s moisture barrier while improving the texture, leaving skin …

Australian Pure Micellar Water | Review

Remember I was disappointed by Sukin Micellar Cleansing Water because it stings my eyes when I remove my eye makeup. Recently I discovered a vegan brand. Discovered probably is not accurate in this case. We have been using their household cleaning products for a long time. I just didn’t know they have skin care products. It’s an Australian owned company, called Natures Organics. The company committed to provide products with plant-based ingredients since 1950s. The founder was the first one in Australia to process and stabilise Aloe Vera gel. You know the green gel helps to relieve your sunburn or insect bits. I saw it one day in the supermarket. So why not try? When I researched the product information on their website, I noticed they have a Material Safety Data Sheet for every single one of their products. How good is that?! Compare to some big companies that you can’t even find what basic ingredients in their products on their website. Anyway, move on. What they say about this product: “enriched with native Australian Kakadu …

KIKO Trio Blush and 3D Hydra Lipgloss

Hey lovelies, Happy Wednesday! Hope your week has been going well so far. It’s so hot and sunny today. Just too hot to go anywhere. I notice that lately I haven’t been very keen on makeup stuff. I haven’t bought any new things since I came back from the trip. It’s probably because the hot weather. Light coverage foundation, blush and lipgloss are all I need for everyday make-up. Speaking of lipgloss and blush, I have been using the one I bought from the trip, Kiko 3D hydra Lipgloss and Trio blush. I really like them. The KIKO Trio Blush I got is 05 Marsala, a matte dusty mauve pink. The colour is soft and natural looking. It is very easy to blend.  Doesn’t take much effort at all. I love the packaging too, very compact with a mirror inside. Handy to travel with.  I don’t think the lasting power is super good, but I am ok with it. I can have it on for over four hours in a hot summer day with a setting …

The Body Shop British Rose Fresh Plumping Mask | Review

I have been thinking to share this one for a while. I can’t remember how I got this one. Hmm, I probably bought it during Xmas holiday. In general, I love The Body Shop products, especially their body butter and scrubs. Have your tried the honeymaina body scrub? It’s pure heaven. You will get baby skin after that, smooth like silk. I have tried their mask products before. However, I wasn’t very impressed. This one is different. It was a very pleasant surprise. The mask is designed to hydrate and plump the skin and leave a soft, dewy and youthful glow. It says it can be used 2-3 times per week. I think I use it whenever I feel I need a good hydrating mask. What they say about the product: ” Inspired by the European bathing rituals, 100% vegan refreshing gel face mask is infused with real rose petals, rose essence, rosehip oil and organic Community Trade aloe vera. it’s formulated without parabens, paraffin, silicone or mineral oil. Reveal skin that’s replenished with moisture and visibly …

Qualikos BioQ Macadamia Body Butter | Review

If you know me, I cannot live without body butter. When we travelled in Sicily, I used up my body shop body butter. I couldn’t find it anywhere. What a disaster! Well, I had to get something. That’s how I came across the Qualikos BioQ body butter. It’s quite hard to find information about this company, especially when I don’t speak Italian at all. Thanks to Google translate! Here is what I found out. Qualikos is an Italian company that manufactures ecofriendly beauty products, including personal care, body care, hair care, bath and shower products. BioQ is their certified organic line of products. Only natural ingredients from organic farming are used. All products are free of PEG , parabens, petrolatum, SLS paraffin, SLES, silicons and artificial colours. What they say about the product: “Nourishing body butter, based on Macadamia oil and Shea butter. Rich and pleasant to massage, it leaves the skin soft and velvety. Aloe extract has a soothing action while Ginko biloba extract prevents skin aging. A sweet-scented butter that melts in contact with the skin. Free …

Zelens Z Luminous Brightening Serum | Review

Hey lovelies, how’s the week so far? My day started from going to our local shopping mall in very early hours to get few things. Although I was trying to avoid the crowd, unfortunately it was very unsuccessful at all. It took me ages to get in and out. I think it will be my last trip to the mall for this year. If I really must get something, I think I will just go online. Thanks for the internet, so convenient. Anyway, I have a review for you today. If you follow me for a while, you probably know I love Zelens Absolute Face oil. It has been a staple of my skin care routine. I haven’t found anything works better than that. Because of my love to the oil, I decided to try out the Zelens Z luminous Brightening serum. I wanted to see if it works on my skin. I bought the serum after I came back from our trip. I have been using it for about a month now. I can …
