Happy New Year!

Last day of 2017! Time really flies. I would say I have had a good year. I am really grateful! All our family members and friends are healthy. I am so glad that my mom agreed to come for a visit this year. We spent a couple of months together. We also had trips to Tasmania and Fraser Island. I really treasure the time we spent together. I got a new job this year. The best part is the people I work with. They are all so helpful, supportive and nice. We had one of our best trips to Europe. I am still writing about it. More posts will be up on my blog for the next few weeks. For my blog, I reached 1000 followers this year. I am grateful for all your support and love! I wish all of you have a wonderful New Year, no matter where you are! Have a good time with your friends and family! Be safe! See you in 2018! xoxo Lots of love. Jen Advertisements

Online Shopping Safety

Hello lovely people. Hope you have had a good weekend. First of all, I would like to apologise that I have been able to keep up with my regular three posts per week for the past few weeks. It has been quite hectic lately. I certainly hope I will be able to do three posts a week soon. Thanks for all your support and patience with me. xx Christmas is just 7 days away. I hope you are all set for the holiday season. For the past few weeks, Christmas gifts shopping has been a hot and hot topic at work and with friends. Every single day we receive promotion from retailers through emails, txt messages, Facebook, and printed ads. Everywhere you see, it’s about Christmas shopping. However, the time before Christmas is also a very busy time at work for most of the people. Online shopping certainly is a good option, so we won’t miss the opportunity to show love to our loved ones. However, while we enjoy the convenience of online shopping, we must take …

Gift Season

Wow, first day of December 2017. Christmas and New Year are just around the corner. I can’t believe this year is almost gone. Although I don’t believe Christmas is the only time to give gifts to our loved ones, it certainly is the right occasion. I know I am bit late for looking for gifts. Better late than never, eh? Once I started searching for gift ideas, I am overwhelmed with all the sales and promotion out there on the market. I haven’t really decided what to buy, but I have narrowed down some gifts I like to get for my families and probably myself. 😉 Skin care Peter Thomas Roth Mask-A-Holic looks like a good set. Five masks in one package. You get to try everything. I haven’t tried any of their masks. Quite tempted by this one. OMOROVICZA Miracle Facial Oil Set is very good value for money. Only the Miracle Facial oil’s retail price is £75. This set has three products for £80. Last one is Emma Hardie Amazing Face Life and Glow skin Essentials. I love …

I’m back

Greetings, lovely people! I hope you have had a wonderful weekend! My apologies! I know I haven’t updated my blog for over three weeks. I really missed my blog and you guys. I came back from the trip two weeks ago. There were so much to catch up at work. I was really snowed under with work. Plus, I had really bad jet lag. For the first week, I didn’t get much sleep at all. At some stage, I was so stressed out. Anyway, it’s all getting better now. No complaints! 🙂 I will start uploading photos and posts about the trip. It was one of the best trips I ever had. Please stay tuned. 🙂 For the beauty lovers, I didn’t buy a lot of beauty stuff on this trip. But I did get some Kiko products (Italian brand) and some Biotherm products (French brand). I will gradually post some reviews about these products. Just a sneak peek here. 😉 I want to take the opportunity to thank my followers. Thanks for staying with me. …

It’s not OK!

Hey guys, I hope you have had a good week! I scheduled a post for today, but I decided to put something else here. I just want to get it off my chest. I will keep it short. The story started on Monday. Same as you, I have followed many bloggers. I get email notifications when they update their blogs. On Monday, I got a notification email. I didn’t have time to read the post through the day. At night, after I read her post, I started looking at blogs on WordPress. I came across a beauty blog. The blogger had exact same post, same title, same photo and same words of the post I just read. At the beginning, I thought it was just reblogging. However, I couldn’t find the original blogger’s name anywhere in the post. It didn’t mention about the source either. Really?! I’m still quite new to the blogging world. However, I do know bloggers put effort and time to publish each post. If you want to reblog, I am sure most of …

The Carpool Tag!

I was tagged by Rebecca from The Finicky Cynic for the carpool tag last month. Sorry for the delay. I just got around to do it. Do you know? Rebecca actually created The carpool Tag. I must admit that I haven’t done many tags since I started blogging. I did enjoyed the ones I have done. However, nothing is like this tag. I think it’s pretty unique. She wrote: “I was inspired to create this sort of tag due to the fact that I’ve done my fair share of carpooling at home and abroad, whether with family and friends or with complete strangers (safely, of course!). I find carpooling not only to be an economic way of getting from place to place, but also a great way to bond with other passengers! Friendship makes the world go ’round, am I right?” Without further ado, let’s just get to it.   The rules: Thank the person who tagged you in their post. Link back to the original creator of the tag (that’s me!). Pick your car (model, size, color, …
