One of my friends raved about this night cream. I am always curious about a good night cream for dry skin, and I love Dr. Jackson’s 07 Face Wash. It has been my morning cleanser for a while. Its citrus scent smells refreshing and divine. It certainly wakes me up every morning. From what I learned, all their products are vegan and free from parabens, sulphates, artificial fragrances and synthetic ingredients. Plus, I really have a good feeling about this brand. Maybe it’s because of its packaging. They are all rather unpretentious. If it’s a trick, it certainly works on me. 😉
What they say about this product:
“Rich, repairing nighttime formula. It is perfect for nighttime use, has long-lasting hydrating effects (clinical trials have proved that just one application works its moisturising magic on the skin for up to eight hours!). It is packed full of natural ingredients that work in harmony to nourish and soften the skin . Make this replenishing formula part of your bedtime rituals to enrich the skin and create an atmosphere of peace and serenity; take a deep breath and let the relaxing aromas of fragrant frankincense help you drift off. Come morning, you’ll be feeling refreshed and looking radiant.”
It’s suitable for all skin type, especially for dry skin.
Key Ingredients (from Dr Jackson’s website):
Kigelia fruit extract: it has calming and soothing properties, ideal for problem skin and even out skin tone.
Baobab seed oil: high in fatty acids, encourages regeneration and promotes elasticity, visibly tightening the skin and diminishing scarring.

My experience:
- Usage: After cleansing, I massage a thin layer on my face and neck.
- Texture: creamy, slightly thick, non-greasy.
- Scent: quite hard to describe the scent, probably natural botanic scent. Soothing, but not strong.
- Packaging: Mine is 30ml. It comes in a black plastic pot/jar with a lid. The 50ml one comes in an amber apothecary jar. I have read complaints about this packaging because it’s hard to get the product out of the jar.
- Price: AUD48.95/30ml
The Verdict:
Personally, I think it’s a fine product. It does what it says, hydrating, softening and plumping the skin. It’s absorbed very quickly by my skin. I like it because it’s non-greasy and not heavy, a little goes a long way. I would recommend it for the winter or dry seasons. It’s probably a little bit too heavy for the summer time.

Maybe you can try. I quite like it because I have dry skin. It definitely keeps my skin hydrated. However, I don’t know if it will work for you.
