Hey lovely people, how are you doing today? Happy Wednesday! It’s already in the middle of the week, almost the end of November. Can you believe it?!
Before I start the review, the product’s name is actually Clinique Fresh Pressed™ Renewing Powder Cleanser with Pure Vitamin C. Very long, eh? 😉 I bought a 28 packets at the airport on the way back to Brisbane. I have been using it ever since. There are only two packets left now.
What they say about the product:
It is a “water-activated powder cleanser with fresh Vitamin C to purify, brighten, retexturize“. The powder is activated by adding water. It suits all skin types for daily use. After using it, the skin will instantly has a “awakened, purified, with a refined texture and brighter look“. The formula is non-drying and non-striping.
“Fresh means powerful. Pure Vitamin C naturally degrades when exposed to oxygen, so it’s most powerful when fresh. Stay-fresh packaging isolates the pure Vitamin C until activation, maintaining its freshness and full power for maximum results. ”
Key ingredients:
It’s rather hard to find the full ingredients list. I couldn’t see it on the packaging or the official website, which is very annoying. I got the list from beautypedia.com.
“Maltodextrin, Sodium Lauryl Sulfoacetate, Sodium Cocoyl Isethionate, Sodium Methyl Cocoyl Taurate, Kaolin, Ascorbic Acid, Sodium Chloride, Sapindus Mukurossi Peel Extract, Salicylic Acid, Allyl Methacrylates Crosspolymer, Cyclodextrin, Coconut Acid, Ethylbisminomethylguaiacol Manganese Chloride, Water, Disodium EDTA.”
My experience:
- Usage: I use one packet every day. Add water, rub into a lather, apply to my skin. I normally leave it for 1 minute before rinsing off.
- Scent: No scent.
- Texture: Powder.
- Packaging: Comes in an individually packed packet. It’s very travel friendly and easy to use.
- Price: 28 packets in one box – AUD 57.00.
The Verdict:
After the trip, the brown patches on my cheeks were darken. After one month of using this product, it definitely helped with lightening the brown patches. My skin did get an instant brighten feeling, and it is also getting clearer.
I would recommend it if you want a brighten complexion. I think it’s a great morning cleanser.
I will not continue use it after I finish mine at this stage. But I will definitely repurchase. I feel it’s like a treatment to my skin.
Hope you like the review. Let me know your thoughts.

It has been on the market for a while now…few months I think. They also have a serum too. I like the cleanser more than the serum. The concept is quite interesting.

Is this as good as using oil or serum form of Vitamin C?

I don’t think it’s same. The serum will stay on your skin. This is an cleanser. I think it’s more like a quick treatment to me. You get an instant boost.
