Urban Decay Naked Skin Colour Correcting Fluid|review

Hey loves, happy Friday!

Today I am gonna talk about Urban Decay naked skin colour correcting fluid. I have the colour peach. I know a lot of you love Urban Decay naked skin weightless concealer. I have to say I am not. My go-to concealer is BareMinerals complete coverage serum concealer. I found the UD concealer is too heavy on my very dry skin.

Urban Decay says this product has an innovative and lightweight formula. It leaves the skin illuminated and radiant. The liquid formula is light and easy to blend. Its pearlescent pigments can diffuse light on your skin. It also has vitamin C and E to nourish and protect the skin.

There are six colours:

  • green – correct spot redness, blemishes, broken blood vessels.
  • lavender – balance sallowness and bright yellow undertone
  • pink – for dark circles in fairer skin tones
  • yellow – conceal purple-hued dark circles
  • peach – correct dark spots, veins, blue-hues dark circles in deeper skin tones
  • deep peach – for dark discoloration and sun spots for deeper or bronzier skin tones.

I was a bit sceptical when I found out UD use the same formula of the Naked skin concealer since it didn’t work very well on my dry skin. However, I decided to give it a chance ;). I must! lol

My current skin colour is less tanned because the summer is over. Generally, I spend less time under the sun. The dark patches on my cheeks are much lighter. Thanks to the cream that my dermatologist prescribed. Yay! 🙂 I want to use less products on my skin, not many layers at least. I was hoping that I can use it to replace my concealer from time to time.

It worked! To my surprise, the texture is much lighter than the concealer. It blends well for sure with a brush. Sometimes I just use my fingers to blend. I don’t have very bad dark circles under my eyes, just a little bit when I don’t sleep well. The peach colour definitely brighten my under-eye area. I am so happy that it actually covers the brown patches well on my cheeks.

The packaging is just like the concealer with a wand applicator. Super easy to use. You don’t need a lot to correct the imperfection. 🙂

The Verdict:

A keeper! Works a treat!

You definitely need to use foundation or concealer on top. Otherwise, it looks funny. After I use the peach corrector, I use a sponge to apply my foundation on top. So it won’t move the corrector underneath. I can skip my concealer. It looks great and natural. Absolutely love it!

What do you think about this corrector? Let me know in the comments below. xx
