Some beauty favourties| Makeup

Can you believe it’s November? Time just flies. Summer is already here. Today is like 30 degree outside. I am sitting here and typing on my keyboard in shorts and t-shirts. How can you not love the weather in Brisbane. 🙂

Today I want to share some beauty products that I love with you guys. Nothing new. These are the products I have had for a while, and I have been using them everyday.

It Cosmetics Your Skin but Better CC cream

From the photo, you can see the CC cream has been very well loved. I have been using it everyday for the past few weeks. The coverage is medium, but buildable to high coverage. I do think it gets quite heavy if you try to achieve a full coverage look.

It comes in a tube with a pump at one end. One pump is definitely enough for me. The texture is creamy which is very good on my dry skin. It’s very easy to blend with dewy finish. There are only five shades though. My shade is medium. The bonus is that it has SPF 50 mineral sunscreen, which contains titanium dioxide(9%) and zinc oxide (6.3%). It claims it has anti-aging hydrating serum. I can vouch for the hydrating part, but not sure about the anti-aging effect.

Overall, it’s good for day-to-day use, medium coverage, hydrating, dewy finish and sun protection.

Charlotte Tilbury Legendary Brows

I like natural looking brows. Hence, I bought this because of the teeny skinny wand. The texture is soft gel/wax like, and it’s super easy to use. The brush is so fine that you can coat your brow hair easily. If I don’t want to use a pencil, I just use it to brush my brow quickly downwards and then upwards. After that, I gently brush my brow with a spoolie to get rid of any extra product. Done! My shade is Cara, which is for dark brown to black hair.

Estee Lauder Pure Color Envy – 410 Dynamic

This lipstick has been a staple in my bag. The color is kind of warm rose pink color. It’s a perfect color for spring and summer. The texture is creamy, and it’s moisturizing (good on my dry lips). I normally apply it once on my lips. Blot. Apply again for the second time. It  can last about 4-5 hour on me. I’m happy with that.

You probably notice that the package is different from the one you see in the shop because it’s from their blockbuster value set I bought. The package is simpler than the one you can get from the shop individually.

That’s a wrap. These are the beauty products I have been loving. So…it’s time to tell me what’s your favorites. 😉

  1. I have really been considering getting the cc cream, because of the SPF and it looks great in the videos. It’s just so expensive! But I’m not a big make up girl in the first place so I think I can afford something for daily use. Soon maybe! How can you tell which shade you are?

    • Hey, thanks for stopping by. Before I bought it, I watched some youtubers’ video. Sometimes they mention the shade of other foundation they use, like Mac foundation. That would be a baseline for me. For Mac face and body foundation, my shade is between C2 and C3. I get darker in the summer. So I ordered medium shade. It turns out fine for me at the moment. I hope this helps. 🙂
